PROJECT: A SOCIAL DIDACTIC PEDAGOGY OF MODERN FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING IN BRAZIL
The aim of the project A social didactic pedagogy of modern foreign language teaching in Brazil / Pour une sociodidactique de lenseignement des Langues Etrangères Modernes appliquée au contexte brésilien is to compare practicing and theory of foreign language teaching in order to construct a social didactic pedagogy of modern foreign language teaching in in Brazil Three criteria will guide our work: firstly, to prioritize social representation study which is a modality of specific knowledge and a specific expression of a social thought. Thus, social representation is at the same time a process and content- in both cases it is represented by language–. Second, to analyze the images (auto and heteroimages) and speaking stereotypeswhich are orality spaces in classroom. Third, to analyze different verbal, non-verbal and para-verbal aspects, both explicit socio cultural aspects and non -explicit socio cultural aspects in speech act. Therefore, the main objective of this project is the verbal expression (interaction and communication) in order to theorize a didactic pedagogic practicing.
