Pensar a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o a partir do sujeito, \u2013 a partir da mulher que a realiza \u2013, \u00e9 observar quais as poss\u00edveis rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre o agente de tradu\u00e7\u00e3o e seu processo de produ\u00e7\u00e3o. Este simp\u00f3sio convida trabalhos que revelam ou refletem sobre as mulheres na tradu\u00e7\u00e3o, abrangendo rela\u00e7\u00f5es lingu\u00edsticas, sociais, materiais, pol\u00edticas, hist\u00f3ricas, culturais, institucionais e profissionais, envolvendo a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o escrita e oral. Entre os temas abarcados est\u00e3o: as teorias feministas sobre a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o, a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o e a circula\u00e7\u00e3o do feminismo, os recortes raciais na tradu\u00e7\u00e3o feita por mulheres, o papel das editoras feministas e suas pol\u00edticas editorais para tradu\u00e7\u00e3o, os estudos sobre obras escritas por mulheres e traduzidas por mulheres, as diferen\u00e7as de g\u00eanero na profiss\u00e3o, forma\u00e7\u00e3o, pr\u00e1ticas profissionais e atua\u00e7\u00e3o no mercado, o financiamento de tradu\u00e7\u00f5es feministas, as tradutoras na hist\u00f3ria e na historiografia da tradu\u00e7\u00e3o, a representa\u00e7\u00e3o das tradutoras na literatura e peri\u00f3dicos, biografias de mulheres tradutoras de poesia, literatura e teatro, pr\u00e1ticas de autotradu\u00e7\u00e3o, a retradu\u00e7\u00e3o de obras consagradas por mulheres, a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o engajada e a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o ativista produzida por mulheres, a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o feita por mulheres e a censura, a influ\u00eancia das tradu\u00e7\u00f5es realizadas por mulheres na forma\u00e7\u00e3o da literatura nacional, o papel das tradutoras na (re)tradu\u00e7\u00e3o do c\u00e2none, bem como a explora\u00e7\u00e3o e investiga\u00e7\u00e3o da aus\u00eancia e do silenciamento das mulheres na tradu\u00e7\u00e3o, entre outros temas pertinentes \u00e0 rela\u00e7\u00e3o mulher-tradu\u00e7\u00e3o. Nesse sentido, entre as quest\u00f5es norteadoras dos trabalhos estariam: Quem era\/\u00e9 a tradutora? O que (n\u00e3o) foi traduzido por mulheres? Onde a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o teve lugar? Quais eram as institui\u00e7\u00f5es envolvidas? Quem auxiliou a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o? Por que a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o foi realizada? Como a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o foi feita? Como foi escolhida? Quando foi realizada a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o? Para quem foi feita a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Palavras-chave:<\/strong> Tradutoras, Tradu\u00e7\u00e3o e g\u00eanero, Tradu\u00e7\u00e3o e mulheres<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Abstract:<\/strong> Translation is &#8220;the most intimate act of reading,&#8221; and a translator \u201cmust surrender to the text\u201d (Gayatri Spivak). In so doing, she &#8220;earns permission to transgress from the trace of the other \u2013 before memory \u2013 in the closest places of the self.\u201d To think about translation from the perspective of the subject \u2013 the woman who performs it \u2013 is to delve into the relations between translation agent and her translation process. This symposium invites works that reveal or reflect on women in translation, covering linguistic, social, material, political, historical, cultural, institutional and professional relationships, involving written and oral translation. Among the topics covered are: feminist theories on translation, translation and circulation of feminism, race and ethnicity in translations by women, the role of feminist publishers and editorial policies for translation, studies on works written by women and translated by women, gender differences in the profession, training, professional and market practices, funding for feminist translations, translators in the history and historiography of translation, representation of women translators in literature and periodicals, biographies of women translators of poetry, literature and drama, self-translation practices, retranslations of the canon by women, engaged and activist translation produced by women, women translators and censorship, the influence of women\u2019s translated works in the formation of national literature , the role of translators in (re)translating the canon, as well as discussions and investigations on the absence and silencing of women in translation, among other topics under the relations between women and translation. In this sense, questions that would guide proposals involve: Who was \/ is the woman translator? What was (not) translated by women? Where did the translation take place? Which institutions were involved? Who helped the translation? Why was the translation done? How was the translation done? How was it chosen? When was the translation done?
