Considerando tal contexto, torna-se bastante relevante refletir-se sobre como o ensino da tradu\u00e7\u00e3o tem sido realizado. Os programas de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e de p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em tradu\u00e7\u00e3o expandiram-se exponencialmente e caracterizam-se pela heterogeneidade e singularidade de cada programa. Se, por um lado, essas caracter\u00edsticas podem ser vistas como positivas, por outro, os desafios, muitas vezes comuns, t\u00eam sido enfrentados de diferentes maneiras, n\u00e3o necessariamente resultando no compartilhamento de conhecimento sobre os procedimentos de ensino. Em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 gradua\u00e7\u00e3o, um grande desafio \u00e9 a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre o mercado de trabalho e os curr\u00edculos, que nem sempre parecem estar alinhados com a forma como a profiss\u00e3o \u00e9 atualmente desempenhada. Observa-se a coexist\u00eancia de curr\u00edculos diversos, diferentes cursos e formas singulares de associar academia e mercado de trabalho. Quanto \u00e0 p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o, um n\u00famero crescente de programas \u00e9 dedicado \u00e0 pesquisa em tradu\u00e7\u00e3o, embora o espa\u00e7o dispon\u00edvel em muitas universidades seja uma linha de pesquisa dentro de programas de Estudos de Linguagem, de Lingu\u00edstica e\/ou de Literatura. Dadas estas circunst\u00e2ncias, este simp\u00f3sio visa fomentar discuss\u00f5es sobre as perspectivas atuais e futuras dos cursos de forma\u00e7\u00e3o em tradu\u00e7\u00e3o, especialmente nas universidades, incluindo experi\u00eancias de ensino e pr\u00e1tica de tradu\u00e7\u00e3o em ambientes como escrit\u00f3rios universit\u00e1rios de tradu\u00e7\u00e3o, laborat\u00f3rios, empresas juniores, parcerias entre institutos de educa\u00e7\u00e3o e empresas, etc. O simp\u00f3sio centra-se na discuss\u00e3o sobre os cursos de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e de p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o no Brasil no que diz respeito \u00e0 forma\u00e7\u00e3o de tradutores e pesquisadores, com base em trabalhos desenvolvidos no \u00e2mbito dos Estudos da Tradu\u00e7\u00e3o, como os de Kiraly (2000), Chesterman e Wagner (2002), Gile (2009), Pym (2008, 2009) e Venuti (2017), trazendo quest\u00f5es ligadas \u00e0 realidade brasileira. No entanto, contribui\u00e7\u00f5es sobre processos de ensino e experi\u00eancias desenvolvidas em outros contextos e pa\u00edses tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o bem-vindas. Mais especificamente, o simp\u00f3sio visa abordar curr\u00edculos, programas de ensino, abordagens de ensino e aprendizagem, incluindo tecnologia em sala de aula e crit\u00e9rios para avalia\u00e7\u00e3o e cr\u00edtica das tradu\u00e7\u00f5es realizadas por alunos. Tamb\u00e9m se pretende discutir a forma\u00e7\u00e3o de investigadores de tradu\u00e7\u00e3o, tanto em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 extensa abrang\u00eancia de \u00e1reas de pesquisa, bem como a m\u00e9todos e estrat\u00e9gias adotados pelos pesquisadores, centrando-se especificamente na inter-rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre os Estudos da Tradu\u00e7\u00e3o e \u00e1reas interdisciplinares, tais como Antropologia, Lingu\u00edstica, Estudos Culturais, Estudos Liter\u00e1rios, entre outros. O objetivo, portanto, \u00e9 fomentar o di\u00e1logo e a coopera\u00e7\u00e3o entre diferentes institui\u00e7\u00f5es de ensino de tradu\u00e7\u00e3o, abrangendo desde experi\u00eancias em sala de aula a aspectos explicitamente relacionados a quest\u00f5es de pesquisa profissional e cient\u00edfica, acolhendo os resultados de pr\u00e1ticas ou pesquisas conclu\u00eddas ou em andamento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Palavras-chave:<\/strong> Forma\u00e7\u00e3o, Tradutor, Pesquisador de tradu\u00e7\u00e3o<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Abstract:<\/strong> In the last decades, with the advent of the so-called &#8220;new technologies&#8221; and movements known as &#8220;internationalization&#8221;, &#8220;globalization&#8221; and\/or &#8220;mundialization&#8221;, the flow of translations has not only increased considerably, but also the translation process itself has undergone significant changes. Taking this into consideration, to reflect upon how the teaching of translation has been carried out becomes quite relevant. Graduate and undergraduate programs in translation have expanded exponentially and are characterized by the heterogeneity and singularity of each program. If, on the one hand, these features may be seen as positive, on the other, the often common challenges have been faced in different ways, not always resulting in shared knowledge on teaching procedures. Concerning undergraduate courses, a major challenge is the relationship between the labor market and academic curricula, which do not always seem to be aligned with the way the profession is currently performed. Diverse curricula, different course programs, and singular ways of aligning the academy to the labor market coexist. Regarding graduation courses, an increasing number of programs are devoted to translation research, even though the space available several universities is a research line within graduate programs in Language, Linguistics and\/or Literary Studies. Given these circumstances, this symposium aims to foster discussions on the current and future perspectives of translation training courses, especially in universities, including translation training experiences in environments such as university translation offices, laboratories, junior companies, partnerships between institutes of education and business enterprises, etc. This symposium focuses on the discussion of undergraduate and graduate courses in Brazil with respect to training of translators and researchers, based on works developed by Translation Studies scholars, such as Kiraly (2000), Chesterman and Wagner (2002), Gile (2009), Pym (2008, 2009), and Venuti (2017),&nbsp; and bringing up issues connected to the Brazilian reality. However, contributions on teaching processes and experiences developed in other contexts and countries are also welcomed. More specifically, the symposium aims to address curricula, syllabi programs, teaching and learning approaches, including technology in the classroom and criteria for evaluation and critique of students\u2019 translations. It also intends to discuss the training of translation researchers, both in relation to the wide range of research fields, as well as to methods and strategies adopted by researchers, specifically focusing on the interrelationship between Translation Studies and interdisciplinary areas, such as Anthropology, Linguistics, Cultural Studies, Literary Studies, among others.
