Inscreva-se neste Simp\u00f3sio<\/a><\/p>\n Antes de se inscrever, leia as orienta\u00e7\u00f5es AQUI<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n Carlos Henrique Rodrigues Vin\u00edcius Nascimento Neiva de Aquino Albres Idiomas de trabalho | Work languages: <\/strong> Portugu\u00eas e Libras<\/p>\n Resumo:<\/strong> A emerg\u00eancia do campo disciplinar dos Estudos da Tradu\u00e7\u00e3o e da Interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o de L\u00ednguas de Sinais (ETILS) no contexto brasileiro, nas tr\u00eas \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas, est\u00e1 marcada (i) pela intensifica\u00e7\u00e3o das pesquisas sobre a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o e a interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o de\/entre\/para l\u00ednguas de sinais no \u00e2mbito da p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o; (ii) pela cria\u00e7\u00e3o de oito diferentes cursos de gradua\u00e7\u00e3o direcionados \u00e0 forma\u00e7\u00e3o de tradutoras, tradutores e int\u00e9rpretes de Libras-Portugu\u00eas nas universidades federais; (iii) pela difus\u00e3o de diversas publica\u00e7\u00f5es e volumes espec\u00edficos, em peri\u00f3dicos nacionais, destinados \u00e0 veicula\u00e7\u00e3o de artigos da \u00e1rea; (iv) pela presen\u00e7a crescente dos pesquisadores da tradu\u00e7\u00e3o e da interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o envolvendo l\u00ednguas de sinais nos eventos que t\u00eam como foco a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o e\/ou a interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o; bem como (v) pela cria\u00e7\u00e3o e amplia\u00e7\u00e3o do Congresso Nacional de Pesquisas em Tradu\u00e7\u00e3o e Interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o de Libras e L\u00edngua Portuguesa, que realizou, recentemente, sua sexta edi\u00e7\u00e3o (PEREIRA, 2010; SANTOS, 2012; VASCONCELLOS, 2012; ALBRES, 2014; MARTINS, NASCIMENTO, 2015; RODRIGUES, BEER, 2015, dentre outros). A mobiliza\u00e7\u00e3o dos surdos brasileiros, as novas demandas relacionadas \u00e0 tradu\u00e7\u00e3o e \u00e0 interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o de\/entre\/para l\u00ednguas de sinais e os movimentos associativos t\u00eam promovido um conjunto de trans-forma\u00e7\u00f5es sociais, profissionais e acad\u00eamicas que impactam tanto a pr\u00e1tica como a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o dos processos tradut\u00f3rios e interpretativos interlingu\u00edsticos envolvendo, dentre outros aspectos, a quest\u00e3o da modalidade de l\u00edngua (i.e., a modalidade gestual-visual) e de seus efeitos (RODRIGUES, 2013, 2018; LOUREN\u00c7O, 2015; NASCIMENTO, MARTINS, SEGALA, 2017; NASCIMENTO, 2017, dentre outros). Considerando a situa\u00e7\u00e3o atual dos tradutores, tradutoras e int\u00e9rpretes intermodais e intramodais gestuais-visuais, surdos e ouvintes, esperamos que o simp\u00f3sio se constitua como um espa\u00e7o de di\u00e1logo, problematiza\u00e7\u00e3o e reflex\u00e3o sobre a especificidade da atua\u00e7\u00e3o tradut\u00f3ria e interpretativa intermodal e intramodal gestual-visual com destaque para os aspectos sociais, hist\u00f3ricos, lingu\u00edsticos, textuais, terminol\u00f3gicos, operacionais, cognitivos, socioprofissionais, \u00e9ticos, formativos, interculturais, tecnol\u00f3gicos, multimodais e te\u00f3ricos que caracterizam a tradu\u00e7\u00e3o de\/entre\/para l\u00ednguas de sinais. Nesse sentido, acreditamos incentivar e promover o intercambio entre diferentes profissionais, pesquisadores e professores interessados em discutir as m\u00faltiplas fun\u00e7\u00f5es da tradu\u00e7\u00e3o e da interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o de l\u00ednguas de sinais na contemporaneidade no que diz respeito \u00e0 sua filia\u00e7\u00e3o aos Estudos da Tradu\u00e7\u00e3o e aos da Interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o, bem como \u00e0s novidades e desafios que a quest\u00e3o da modalidade gestual-visual das l\u00ednguas de sinais traz \u00e0 tona.<\/p>\n Palavras-chave:<\/strong> L\u00ednguas de Sinais, Modalidade de l\u00edngua, Libras<\/p>\n Abstract:<\/strong> The emergence of Sign Language Translation and Interpreting Studies (SLTIS) as an academic field in the Brazilian context over the last three decades is highlighted (i) by the increase of research involving translation and interpreting from\/between\/into sign languages in the postgraduate sphere; (ii) by the establishment of eight different undergraduate programs in federal universities focusing on translators and interpreters\u2019 of Libras-Portuguese training; (iii) by the diffusion of publications and specific volumes, in national journals, destined to the dissemination of articles concerning this field; (iv) by the increasing presence of researchers from the field of sign languages translation and interpreting in events where the focal point is translation and\/or interpreting; as well as (v) by the development and expansion of the National Conference on Sign Language and Portuguese Translation and Interpreting Research, recently completing its sixth edition (Pereira, 2010; Santos, 2012; Vasconcellos, 2012; Albres, 2014; Martins, Nascimento, 2015; Rodrigues, Beer, 2015, among others). The social movement of Brazilian Deaf people, the recent demands related to translation and interpreting from\/between\/into sign languages and the associative movements have been encouraging a set of social, professional and academic trans-formations that have an impact on both practice and research on interlinguistic translation and interpreting processes, involving, among other aspects, the issue of language modality (i.e., visual-gestural modality) and its effects (Rodrigues, 2013, 2018; Louren\u00e7o, 2015; Nascimento, Martins, Segala, 2017; Nascimento, 2017, among others). Considering the current position of intermodal and intramodal visual-gestural translators and interpreters\u2019, both Deaf and hearing, we hope that this symposium will prove itself as a space of debating, raising discussions and reflecting upon the specificity of the intermodal and intramodal visual-gestural translators and interpreters\u2019 activity, highlighting the social, historical, linguistical, textual, terminological, operational, cognitive, socio-professional, ethical, formative, intercultural, technological, multimodal and theoretical aspects that characterize the translation from\/between\/into sign languages. In this sense, we seek to encourage and promote the exchange between different professionals, researchers and professors interested in discussing the multiple functions of sign language translation and interpreting in the contemporary context when it comes to its affiliation to Translation Studies and Interpreting Studies, as well as discussing the innovations and challenges brought by the gestural-visual modality of sign languages.<\/p>\n Keywords:<\/strong> Sign Languages, Language Modality, Brazilian Sign Language<\/p>\n Inscreva-se neste Simp\u00f3sio<\/a><\/p>\n
