It is structured according to two inseparable pillars: the interdisciplinary nature of its training and the articulation between teaching, research and extension. The program brings together faculty members who share a common understanding of the theoretical and practical significance of human rights, fostering a plurality of perspectives and encouraging free and critical debate among its members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><div class=\"linha-header\">Master&#8217;s Degree<br><\/div><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PUBLIC POLICIES IN HUMAN RIGHTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Research Lines:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. HUMAN RIGHTS AND DEMOCRACY: THEORY, HISTORY AND POLITICS<br><\/strong>This research line explores the theoretical and practical foundations of human rights, as well as the social and conceptual history of human rights in Brazil, Latin America, and the world. Key topics include memory, history, and forgetting; democracy and citizenship; and the intersections between human rights and political structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. PUBLIC POLICIES IN HUMAN RIGHTS<br><\/strong>This research line examines the relationship between the state, society, and education, with a focus on human rights education. It includes theoretical and practical studies on the educational foundations of human rights, contemporary culture and human rights, public policies for human rights education, and theories, methods, and pedagogical practices in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. TERRITORIES, HUMAN RIGHTS AND SOCIO-CULTURAL DIVERSITY<br><\/strong>This research line investigates social processes related to territorial disputes and environmental justice. It examines the relationship between society and nature, the demarcation of sociocultural differences, and the ways in which diversity shapes the construction of human rights and citizenship.
